COLUMBUS, Ohio —
Wayfair is opening its first retail store in Ohio, a smaller-format location designed to test the company's shopping experience.
The 70,000 location will be located at 1552 Gemini Place near the Polaris Mall in Columbus. Advertisement
"As we scale our retail strategy, we are focused on both expansion and experimentation," said Liza Lefkowski, vice president of merchandising and stores at Wayfair. "Not only are we thrilled to open our first Ohio store, we are excited to see how customers respond to our efforts to provide a comprehensive home shopping experience in a smaller footprint."
The new store follows Wayfair's first store in Wilmette, IL.
Other stores have been announced for Atlanta, GA, Yonkers, NY and Denver, CO.
