San Francisco International Airport on Friday morning issued a ground stop on arriving flights due to a staffing shortage, airport officials said.
“Due to staffing, departure traffic destined to San Francisco International Airport … will not be allowed to depart until at or after 8:45 a.m. PST,” an air traffic statement from the airport said.
It may also affect departing flights, the airport said.
“Because traffic management program is delaying some arriving flights, departing flight schedules may be affected. Check with your airline to determine if your flight is affected,” the statement said.
