KENSINGTON, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A man says he was robbed at gunpoint by two men posing as FBI agents in Brooklyn, sources tell PIX11 News.

The 37-year-old victim says he was sitting in his truck when he was approached by the pair outside of 1201 36 St. in Kensington around 2:48 p.m. on Thursday, authorities reported.

That's when one of the men allegedly displayed a badge and told the victim to get out of his vehicle, police said. When the 37-year-old did not comply, a second man punched him in the face and displayed a firearm while taking the victim's necklace, according to officials.

The FBI impersonators took off in a Mercedes-Benz heading eastbound on 12th Avenue, authorities said. The victim had minor injuries but refused medical attention.
