The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will honour Rajinikanth and celebrate his completion of 50 years in the film industry. The closing ceremony of the event will feature a special felicitation for the legendary actor.
This year’s festival, scheduled to take place in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2025, will showcase a diverse selection of more than 240 films from 81 countries. This would include 13 world premieres, 4 international premieres, and 46 Asian premieres. The event highlights India's growing stature in the global film community, with a record-breaking 2,314 submissions received from 127 countries.
