A house in Millburn that sold for $3.3 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Essex County in the past week.

In total, 148 residential real estate sales were recorded in the county during the past week, with an average price of $847,431, or $319 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Oct. 27 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.2 million, single-family house at 12 Locust Place

A detached house at 12 Locust Place in Livingston, has been sold. The price was $1,230,000. The house was built in 1954 and has a living area of 1,752 square feet. The price per square foot was $702. The deal was finalized on Oct. 3.
