A house in Fort Lee that sold for $4.2 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Bergen County in the past week.

The county saw a total of 153 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $934,242, or $440 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Oct. 27 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.8 million, single-family house at 76 Chestnut Street

The detached house at 76 Chestnut Street in Englewood has new owners. The price was $1,800,000. The house was built in 1906 and has a living area of 4,604 square feet. The price per square foot was $391. The deal was finalized on Aug. 6.
