Chandigarh, 7 November: Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised a special singing of Vande Mataram to commemorate the 150 years of the iconic national song, as per the directions of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The soulful rendition by the students of the Department of Music marked the beginning of the year-long celebration of Vande Mataram. The staff and students joined in the singing with a deep sense of pride and patriotism, making it a moment of collective national reverence.
