Jimmy Kimmel Live! Didn’t air as planned on Thursday night.

Fans were puzzled by the development, but Deadline reported the show didn’t go on due to a “personal matter” involving the host, Jimmy Kimmel.

ABC did not elaborate, but a message sent to fans with tickets to the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles said the show was postponed and that they would receive tickets to a future taping.

Malice star David Duchovny, Stranger Things star Joe Keery and musical act Madison Beer were among the planned guests. Beer alerted her fans on social media.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jimmy Kimmel Live needed to reschedule my performance that was originally set to air tonight to a later date. I’ll share more details on timing when I can, I can’t wait for you all to see it,” she wrote.
