El Pasoans should brace themselves for colder weather moving in over the weekend, which will drop temperatures below normal.

After several days of warmer-than-normal temperatures, a cold front will push through the area overnight on Saturday, Nov. 8, dropping temperatures in El Paso by 10 to 20 degrees by Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The colder conditions will continue into early Monday, Nov. 10 — El Paso will hover around 40 degrees in the morning hours, while some parts of Southern New Mexico, including Las Cruces and Silver City, are forecast to be near freezing.
