RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 7: A District Level Programme was today organized by the Rajouri Administration to commemorate 150 years of India’s National Song — “Vande Mataram.” The event witnessed vibrant participation of citizens, students and officials, reflecting deep patriotic zeal and reverence for the national pride.
The celebrations commenced with a grand rally from the DC Office Complex to the Dak Bungalow, which was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma.
A Photo Exhibition depicting the historical journey, significance and legacy of “Vande Mataram” was also held at Dak Banglow. The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors and students, who were briefed about the evolution and importance of the song in India’s freedom struggle.
