The Farmer's Almanac published in Lewiston, Maine, is ending its 208-year run after the 2026 edition comes out. But don't confuse this with The Old Farmer's Almanac founded in 1792 and published in Dublin. New Hampshire’s famed almanac will continue to weather changes to the publishing industry, Yankee Publishing said.
“Rest assured, as sure as the Sun will rise, The Old Farmer’s Almanac – with our familiar yellow cover and 80 percent accurate weather forecasts – will be around for generations to come,” according to a statement on almanac.com .
