ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The New York State Tariff Disruptions Report findings were officially released on Friday. This report is a statewide analysis of the economic and social impacts that the Trump Administration's tariff policies are having on New York, as requested by Governor Kathy Hochul.

The preliminary results have found that the tariff policies that have been implemented have caused issues in several fields. According to the report, farms face higher expenses for fertilizer and equipment, construction material costs have climbed by 15 to 25%, Canadian tourism decreased by nearly 400,000 visitors when comparing May 2025 to May 2024, tariffs on imported health care equipment and pharmaceuticals have increased cost and strain on operations, and input costs for manufacturing have ri
