LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - A Lincoln man facing charges in connection to a bank robbery in Omaha has entered a plea agreement.
Sherman Wade, 44, entered a plea of guilty to two counts: Bank robbery and use of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
Wade faces up to 10 years in federal prison, a maximum $250,000 fine and a 5-year term of supervised release for the Bank robbery charge, and 25 years to life, a maximum $250,000 fine and a 5-year term of supervised release for the second charge.
Wade’s sentencing is scheduled for February 23, 2026.
Wade was previously held on charges relating to a robbery of an auto parts store in February 2024 , and another robbery of a bank in July 2024 . His bond was set at $2.5 million for each event.
