New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Sports Authority of India and Hockey India celebrated 100 years of Indian hockey with a grand centenary event at the historic Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here on Friday.

The landmark occasion was attended by union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour & Employment Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister of Sports and Youth Services, Odisha Suryabanshi Suraj, president, FIH, Dato Tayyab Ikram, along with other dignitaries, hockey legends, and members of the national teams.
