Up to 20% of flights could be cut in coming weeks if the government shutdown drags on , Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned Friday.

“If this continues, and I have more controllers who decide they can’t come to work, can’t control the airspace, but instead have to take a second job — with that, you might see 10% … go to 15% or 20%,” Duffy said at a news event in Washington, DC, according to the Hill.
