Celtic have hit the Green Brigade with a three-game ban after police officers and stewards were "assaulted" during a match in Falkirk last month.

The east end side has been left angered by the incident in which they claim "100 individuals from the Green Brigade group took part in a coordinated and orchestrated action," to rescue an individual after he was involved in an incident with a staff member, reports the Record.

The Premiership champions and the Green Brigade have long been at loggerheads over incidents at games, political displays and disagreements over how the club is run. The Ultras have demanded the current chiefs should be removed from office with 'Sack the Board' chants and banners the norm in recent weeks.
