A New York woman who was convicted of fatally stabbing a man after a night out together has learned her fate.

On Thursday, Nov. 6, Carrie Weiser, 36, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for the 2021 murder of Scott Myers, 68 — both residents of Catskill.

In June 2024, a jury in Greene County convicted Weiser to second-degree murder for stabbing Myers in the neck in late November 2021.
