There’s been so much movement in the Syracuse basketball program since the dawn of the transfer portal.

A lot of former SU players are now wearing different uniforms. They all played at least one game this week.

Let’s take a spin around and see what’s new with those guys:

Chance Westry: He’s now at UAB. After an underwhelming unofficial debut in an exhibition game against Western Kentucky, Westry was terrific against Mississippi Valley State. ( Ranked No. 365 in Kenpom .) He started the game, played 20 minutes, shot 8-of-12 overall, 3-of-5 from 3, five rebounds, three assists, no turnovers.

It’s hard not to root for Westry, who endured three disastrous seasons of physical issues at Auburn and Syracuse. UAB won, 106-55. Yikes.
