The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has claimed that though Congress has ruled the State for 10 years as against the 15-year rule of the BJP, Uttarakhand achieved remarkable growth in all developmental parameters under Congress while BJP’s rule remained marred with instability and corruption.
Interacting with the media persons at the headquarters of the State Congress on Friday, the PCC president said that it was the Congress government in 2002 which increased the annual plan of the State from Rs 900 crore to Rs 5,000 crore in the very first year. He said that the investor summits were organised during the tenure of CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and Pushkar Singh Dhami by spending huge amounts of money but it was during the ND Tiwari
