Jon Jones has accepted he was 'wrong' in his situation with Tom Aspinall.

After the pair were in a verbal back-and-forth for years, Jones teased that a fight had finally been agreed upon between him and Aspinall in June.

Although the fight never materialised and Jones opted to retire from the sport , which then led to the Brit being upgraded to undisputed heavyweight champion.

Two weeks later, as the UFC White House card was announced, Jones didn't hesitate to reverse his decision .

His intentions of headlining the iconic card were clear, but the UFC CEO, Dana White , revealed he wouldn't trust him with the chance in light of how things played out with Aspinall.
