LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Two arrests were made by the West Virginia State Police Logan Detachment following the conclusion of a child abuse investigation.
Police were notified by Child Protective Services after an 11 month old reportedly suffered from a broken leg after an unsupervised visit with Brandon Jones and Raven Damron.
CPS also told WVSP troopers that the child was in temporary custody of other persons, who took the child to get medical treatment once they received the child back from the visit.
Jones allegedly stomped on the child’s leg and Damron allegedly failed to get the child medical treatment, police said.
WVSP said warrants were obtained after being notified by CPS, and Jones and Damron were taken into custody.
