National eCommerce furniture and home goods retailer Wayfair Inc. announced Friday the appointment of Tractor Supply Co. President and CEO Hal Lawton to its board of directors.

Terms of the appointment to the board of the Boston-based company — which recorded $11.85 billion in revenue in 2024 and is recognized for its “every style, every home” advertising jingle — were not disclosed in a release.

Lawton has served as CEO of Tractor Supply Co. since 2020, having previously been president of Macy's. He also once worked in senior executive roles at eBay and Home Depot.

Lawton holds dual bachelor's degrees in chemical engineering and pulp and paper science technology from North Carolina State University and an MBA degree from the University of Virgin
