FLAGSTAFF, AZ (AZFamily) — Two men are facing charges after deputies found several pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in northern Arizona this week.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said its K9 Unit made a stop on a vehicle on Sunday night on Interstate 40 in Flagstaff.
During the stop, deputies searched the vehicle and found 33.26 pounds of meth, CCSO said.
The driver, 30-year-old Daniel Luna Alonso, and passenger, 20-year-old Brandon Medina Luna, were arrested and booked into Coconino County jail on charges of transporting dangerous drugs for sale.
This incident is still under investigation. CCSO has not provided additional information or booking photos for either suspect.
