The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered airlines to reduce flights at 40 major airports across the United States due to ongoing staffing problems caused by the government shutdown. CBS News reports that dozens of flights were canceled Friday morning, Nov. 7, at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, known as the world's busiest airport. By 10 a.m., 78 flights had been canceled and more than 60 were delayed. Delta Air Lines announced it would cancel roughly 170 flights on Friday, while American Airlines planned to cut 220 flights daily through Monday.
