SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Siouxland Sleepout is taking over Cone Park on Friday, Nov. 7, in Sioux City.
This is Siouxland’s annual fundraiser working to end homelessness in the area, and support local organizations that are helping people without an address.
The sleepout is a family-friendly evening featuring a silent online auction, a cook-off, live music, bonfires, raffles, and other activities.
New this year is a Candy Apple Bar and S’mores Tent. For a $5 donation, you can become your very own s’mores stylists, creating a custom treat to enjoy beside the fire pits at the park.
Proceeds from Friday’s event are split between Community Action Agency of Siouxland, The Gospel Mission, Hope Street of Siouxland, SafePlace, The Warming Shelter, and the Mental Health Association of Siouxland.
