A regional health team is hosting two free pop-up cancer screening clinics for Elgin County residents.
Hosted by Thames Valley Family Health Team, the screenings – scheduled for Nov. 18 and Dec. 17 in St. Thomas – will test anyone with a cervix between ages 25 and 69 for cervical cancer, those aged 50 to 74 for colorectal cancer and anyone between 40 and 74 for breast cancer, officials said. Elgin County residents with or without primary care are eligible to book appointments.
