OKEMOS — Part of a Meridian Township road will be closed to traffic for about four days next week while crews fix failed storm pipes and manholes.

Ingham County Drain Commissioner Pat Lindemann ordered an emergency closure for Comanche Drive between Woodhill Drive and Mt. Hope Road. Lindemann said the closure is needed to repair the failed infrastructure, part of which is beneath the street.

The closure will begin on Monday, Nov. 10 and continue through Friday, Nov. 14, his office said.

All traffic to and from the Woodhill Condominiums and Heartwood subdivision should use Copperhill Drive while Comanche is closed, Lindemann's office said in a news release.

Emergency vehicles will be able get through the construction site, it said.
