Police are searching for a black four-door sedan they believe to be involved in the Nov. 2 ambush shooting death of a 26-year-old man at an apartment complex on Athens Way.

Police said Jackalius Groves was visiting his girlfriend at Parc Center Apartments when he was shot in an ambush shooting as he exited his white Dodge Durango.

Groves arrived at the complex at about 3:15 p.m. He was found dead by a resident behind some bushes near the back patio of an apartment around 7:15 a.m., police said.
