HANNIBAL (WGEM) - There will be lots of red, white and blue throughout America’s Hometown this weekend.

The Hannibal Veterans Day Parade will start at 10 a.m. at 8 th and Broadway on Saturday.

The parade used to begin at the Save-A-Lot parking lot near 12 th and Broadway.

Organizers said moving the route up a couple of blocks will help with the flow of traffic.

“This year, we’re not going to be in the Save-A-Lot parking lot lining up, we’re actually going to start the parade at 8 th and Broadway. So, we’re going to start lining up after that to make it a little bit more organized and to make it so that we can keep the flow of the parade going.
