EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A Michigan State University student and employee has been cleared of disciplinary complaints stemming from a protest in April.

Eli Folts was accused of intimidating MSU president Kevin Guskiewicz during a peaceful Pro-Palestinian protest.

On Friday, the MSU’s Student Faculty Staff Hearing Board cleared Folts of wrongdoing.

“The Complainant’s body camera footage as shown in the hearing demonstrated that the Respondent [Folts] was not intimidating or impeding any individual… Additionally, the board made this determination because there were no direct statements or clear evidence provided of anyone being intimidated or impacted by the Respondent’s actions," said.
