WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a 53-year-old man has been arrested after a shooting on Thursday afternoon in northeast Wichita.

At approximately 1:08 p.m., officers responded to an alert by a raven gunshot detection system to a possible shooting in the area. Responding officers confirmed that an altercation had taken place between two individuals who knew each other. Police say one person was shot and left the scene in a vehicle.
