In this time of need — local communities across Connecticut are rallying to help.

At Scott's Orchard and Nursery in Glastonbury, all of the proceeds collected from their unsorted barrels of apples is going to relief efforts in Jamaica.

Emily Wayland, the manager at Scott's Orchard and Nursery, told us they have a number of seasonal workers, including some from Jamaica.
