LINCOLN — Gov. Jim Pillen announced Friday that Maureen Larsen, his interim director of Nebraska’s Department of Economic Development, would take over as director.
Larsen has served as interim director since July 21, after former director K.C. Belitz resigned. During that time, Larsen has focused on career opportunities for Nebraska youth, expanding international trade and strengthening public-private partnerships, the Governor’s Office said in a press release.
