Watertown Fire Rescue stabilized a motorcycle driver who suffered critical injuries Wednesday evening.

At 9:50 p.m. on November 5, 2025, WFR responded to a motorcycle accident on a rural gravel road, according to a release.

Upon arrival, personnel initiated advanced life support care and stabilized the rider, who had life-threatening injuries, the WFR stated in a release. Crews put the driver into an ambulance, and WFR Paramedics continued Advanced Life Support treatment. The team transported the driver to Prairie Lakes Hospital Emergency Department. Codington County Sheriff deputies and the South Dakota Highway Patrol assisted Watertown Fire Rescue on the scene.
