BELOIT, Wis. (WKOW) -- Beloit police have identified a suspect in a shooting death from early October .
According to a post on the Beloit Police Department's Facebook page from Captain Eberhardt, detectives were able to identify the person after reviewing witness statements and other investigative efforts.
"The Beloit Police Department is working closely with the Rock County District Attorney’s Office to determine the appropriate charges and the requirements for an extraditable warrant," Captain Eberhardt said.
The shooting happened at a home on White Avenue. Officers were called there in the early morning hours and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at a hospital; the other survived.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
