ITANAGAR, Nov 7: The Sapta Shakti Sangam (Matri Sammelan) was successfully organized at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Kiyit today.

The programme was held with the objective of empowering mothers, enlightening them about their vital role in nurturing children, strengthening family values, and fostering harmony in society and the environment.

The event was graced by Nancy Yirang, ADC Mebo, as chief guest, and Meneka Pertin, social worker, as guest of honour. It witnessed active participation from mothers, teachers, and students. The event was coordinated by Oder Gao, Coordinator of Sapta Shakti Sangam.
