BOSTON —
Boston's Chief of Streets, Jascha Franklin-Hodge, will leave the role by the end of the year, according to the mayor's office.
Talking with reporters on Friday, Mayor Michelle Wu spoke glowingly about Franklin-Hodge's contributions to the city.
"I'm incredibly grateful for Chief Jascha Franklin-Hodge, his leadership has been on everything," she said. "I know that his impact will be felt for a long time because he put a lot of work into fixing up and building the systems that we needed in order to keep this going for the long haul."
Franklin-Hodge, who oversees the city’s Public Works and Transportation departments, has been with the Wu administration since her first term.
He leaves just days after she was elected to a second.
