COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – The City of Coeur d'Alene Parks Department and the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department will conduct a prescribed burn at Tubbs Hill. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, as part of an effort to manage vegetation and improve safety.
The prescribed burn will involve burning piles of cut vegetation, prepared by tree crews who pruned and removed dead trees over the summer. According to the public notice, November provides favorable conditions for controlled burning.
Tubbs Hill will be closed to the public during the burn, with a minimum closure period of two days expected. Residents are thanked for their patience and understanding during this time.
