BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - The road to West Virginia high school soccer glory runs through Beckley.

Two local teams punched their tickets to the final round, which will take place Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The first to do so was Woodrow Wilson – who is nationally ranked in the top 30. They took down Morgantown 4-1 in the semi-finals. 4 different Flying Eagles lit up the scoreboard, a common trait among this team, as they also tout 4 different players with 15 or more goals on the season. Head Coach Steve Laraba explained their unselfish play has been key to getting back to the championship round.
