Pokrovsk On Brink of Collapse? Thousands OF Russian Troops Encircle Ukrainian Soldiers Russian forces have reportedly broken through Ukrainian defenses in Krasnoarmeysk, or Pokrovsk. According to analyst Yuri Podolyaka, organized resistance in the city has effectively collapsed. Russian troops have cleared the Dinas industrial plant - Ukraine’s last major stronghold in the area. Ukrainian forces attempted multiple counterattacks and breakout operations, all of which were repelled. Ukrainian officer Stanislav Bunatov warned that Russia is advancing through Dnepropetrovsk toward Zaporizhzhia. French daily Le Monde said Pokrovsk’s fall appears imminent, calling it a matter of days, not weeks.
