SPOKANE, Wash. — A 24-year-old woman who shot a man in Spokane this summer was sentenced Friday to 93 months in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree assault, according to a news release from the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office.
Spokane Superior Court Judge Michelle Szambelan handed down the sentence for Trinity H. Christenson on Nov. 7, 2025. The case stems from a July 18 shooting on East Central Avenue near Division Street, where the victim was sitting in a doorway when Christenson approached and shot him in the neck. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but survived.
Court documents cited in the release say Christenson went to the address because the man had been “drawing pictures and writing things about wanting to be with her on various buildings and dumpster
