Rashid Shaheed will make his Seahawks debut on Sunday, less than a week after he was traded from New Orleans to Seattle ahead of the NFL's trade deadline.
And while it has been a very eventful week, flying across the country to try to quickly get up to speed with a new team, it has also been an exciting one for the speedy receiver and returner.
"It was a bittersweet feeling, but I knew I was ready for it," Shaheed said of the trade. "Just staying prepared, it's still the same game of football. It's exciting, and I'm excited for this new city and new environment, and I'm ready to go win some games."
While this will be Shaheed's first game as a Seahawk, it won't be his first game at Lumen Field this season, having also played in Seattle with the Saints in Week 3. Now, he's looking forward
