HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Christians Bend Community on Friday afternoon.

The shooting occurred at 4:15 p.m., according to the HCSO.

The HCSO said upon arrival, sheriff's deputies located a man dead.

The sheriff's office said there is no threat to the public and that all individuals involved in the shooting have been located.

No names or additional information will be released pending further investigation and notification of next of kin. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available, HCSO said.
