Newly filed court records reveal that Adam Montgomery, who was convicted of murdering his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony, is being held at the high-security Keen Mountain Correctional Center in southwestern Virginia.
For the past year, Montgomery’s whereabouts have been unknown, with the New Hampshire Department of Corrections refusing to release any information on the transfer citing security concerns and invasion of privacy. His name does not appear on Virginia’s online inmate search.
The documents which confirm Montgomery’s location are part of a wrongful-death lawsuit filed against him. Montgomery, 35, signed paperwork which was then faxed to lawyers on Keen Mountain letterhead to prove to a New Hampshire judge he received a summons.
