Man, 19, fighting for his life after being shot on residential street in Huyton

A 19 year old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot in the street on Friday night.

The emergency services rushed to Manley Road in Huyton, Merseyside around 8.50pm on November 7, following reports of a young man suffering gunshot wounds outside a house.

The victim was given immediate medical attention at the scene before being whisked off to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. A police cordon has been thrown up around Manley Road as officers conduct door-to-door enquiries and scour CCTV footage.
