DONEGAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Two vehicles collided on Interstate 70 and both drivers died in the head-on crash Friday evening, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Police said the fatal collision happened about 5 p.m. near Exit 6 in Donegal Township, Washington County. Advertisement
An eastbound sedan crossed over the grass median and went into oncoming traffic, where it collided with a westbound SUV, Trooper Rocco Gagliardi said. The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
Gagliardi said the SUV had two passengers — a woman who was flown to the hospital with "very severe" injuries, and a boy who was shaken up but not injured.
The coroner identified the driver of the westbound vehicle as William L. Magers, 69, of Glen Dale, West Virginia. The name of the other driver has no
