Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on Friday, expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would clinch a decisive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. The strong voter enthusiasm, especially among women, signals overwhelming support for the ruling coalition, believes Shinde.

Speaking to reporters in Patna a day after Phase I of the state assembly election, Shinde said the “atmosphere in Bihar is very positive,” with people showing great excitement to vote for the NDA.

“Women came out to vote in large numbers during the first phase of polling, just like we saw in Maharashtra. Whenever women have participated enthusiastically, the results have favoured the NDA. This time too, we’ll win by a big margin,” he noted, reported ANI .
