MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Veteran’s Day is next week, and two Lowcountry businesses are offering meaningful ways to give back to our local veterans.

T.D. McMurry, an elevated men’s store at 320 W Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, is donating 15% of the store’s proceeds on Monday, Nov. 10, and Tuesday, Nov. 11 to the Warrior Surf Foundation.

The Warrior Surf Foundation is a local non-profit organization that offers surf therapy, yoga, and community to veterans struggling with mental health challenges.

Melvin’s BBQ, with locations in Mount Pleasant and James Island, is also giving back. All veterans and active-duty military personnel who come into the restaurant on Veterans’ Day, Nov. 11, can receive a free Little Joe sandwich.
