The left-handed batter from Hyderabad, who made his T20I debut against the West Indies in August 2023, is celebrating his 23rd birthday on November 8, and on his special day, he will have a chance to become the youngest Indian to score 1000 runs in T20Is.

So far, no Indian batter has managed to score more than 1000 runs in T20Is before turning 25.

Virat Kohli was 26 years and 331 days old when he joined the 1000-run club in T20Is on October 2, 2015, against South Africa in Dharamsala, and KL Rahul was 27 years and 232 days old when he scored his 1000th run in T20I on December 6, 2019, against the West Indies in Hyderabad.
