AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department notifies the public that it, along with the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, is aware of an assault involving West Plains students.

APD stated they were made aware of the assault that happened on Friday in Randall County after dispatch received several calls and tagged in dozens of posts.

Officials said that both the Amarillo Police and the Randall County Sheriff’s Office have taken reports on this incident, and it’s currently under investigation.
